So I decided to change the theme in hopes of bringing your attention to the newer posts rather than you ever looking through the old posts. Ever.

Well it seems like I’ve been quite free this few days albeit having 3 assignments pending (don’t worry, the deadline’s not so soon yet )  while everyone else is busy rushing up theirs or are in the midst of having exams. Sigh so lonely.

Come to think of it I haven’t had a good chat with anyone recently (except with Lynette the other day), and I quite miss having a good conversation

Was just reading Jae Ee Deu’s blog and yeah though I did mention this in a previous post, heck I’d like to mention it again.

Where are you people? I mean come on we were friends once alright. Close friends at that. So being close friends before, we used to share something in common. Something clicked. But now its like everything’s been thrown out the window and we act as if we hardly know each other anymore. Which is true because we don’t update each other on our lives anymore. It’s not like we get a chance to do it anyway since everyone is always missing or busy or not free or studying or dating or busy again. Come one you can’t be 24/7 busy all the time right what are you a freaking machine?

And like Jae Ee Deu said, some of you in real life are just too fucked faced to try and say ‘hi’ to anymore. With the arrogance and shit. Just because we aint ‘cool’ enough to your standards anymore we’re not worth a greeting anymore? Or even a glance or a smile.

Even our old primary schoolmates which we lost contact YEARS ago can approach us on FB and post a “HELLO! How are you? OMG it’s been ages since we last met. Let’s exchange numbers and keep in touch =)”. Thats one of the reason why I love FB so much. You never know when an old friend might pop up on the ‘Friends you may know’ list.

So does this mean we have to lose contact for at least 2 years before we can re-establish it again? Bullshit.

Grow some ballsacks and stop taking kpop or ‘nothingtotalkaboutanymore’ as excuses.

2. I’m proud to say I’ve switched back to an iPhone user after several months of not using my iPhone. Though Nokia and Samsung produce stylish and functional phones, IMHO, nothing can ever truly beat the iPhone. Unless of course you’d like to prove me wrong by getting me a BlackBerry or a HTC or even maybe the new Nexus One? and yes it also might be the fact I’ve spent the last month everyday around Apple products that got me to change back.

3. My car just got new ‘clothes’! Now all it needs are new ‘shoes’.

4. College started today, and I start out by missing the first class of the new semester. Not intentionally, I swear! It was the stupid program office’s fault! Stupid thing about two timetables and stuff. Half of my classmates didn’t attend the first class too. So I hope our dear lecturer can ‘close one eye’ over our absence and not mark it down in our attendance.

5. I just found out that I really really like to go to stationary shops.

How’s life lately? Yes, in bullets and numbering.

Been playing lots of pool lately in Summit nowadays. That’s cause since two weeks ago, I’ve gotten my own cue. So did my dad. So what’s the use of getting one if you’re not gonna play with it right? Like they say, practice makes perfect. Though I’m still very much far from perfect.

Don’t you just hate it when you spend money getting yourself something, people will start to label you as ‘rich’ or ‘pro’ in whatever it is you spend your money on.

Like when I got my Barricades, just because they’re the higher range of shoes for tennis, people will say stuff like ”wah so expensive shoes ah. pro la u”. I didn’t get that pair to show off to people okay. I got them because I like their design and they’re one of the few rare pair of shoes that I can play sports in. Rare as in they’re the wide sole kind (yes I have wide feet) so I can do heavy duty on them without getting cramped up at the soles. If I were a pro, I’d be making money just by hitting balls.

If you want to complement the shoes by all means go ahead. Don’t put me in the equation. And it’s not just the shoes I’m talking about. Other things too. Like my Beats. I got them because it’s cheaper to get them overseas then getting them here. My dad is working in the middle east and they sell it there at a cheaper price than what our stupid government is taxing them for. Stop labeling me as ‘rich’ because if I were that rich, I wouldn’t be talking to you ignorant farkheads.

I’m just fortunate that my dad is just as much a gadget freak as I am and that he’d have no problem buying these things for himself first then passing them to me. My PS3? My tv? They’re all hand me downs from my dad ok. I didn’t pay for them. So I’M not rich. Go ahead and label my dad as rich. See if he cares.

Stupid llamas.

The Experience Week just ended yesterday. For those of you who knew about it, good. For those who didn’t, too bad. We were expecting a little more crowd than what we got but end up, we ain’t complaining. The RM499 iPod tak laku sangat la since the four days that the promotion lasted, we only got like 3 or 5 sold each day. Owh well what to do, the green Nano look like pisai. So I suppose it’s not that attractive to customers.

Speaking of customers, there was one couple the other day, came up to me to ask about a MacBook. They were obviously clueless about anything Apple related, so I had to explain to them everything. I even demo-ed the iLife and iWork software on the Mac. Ok la, I admit it was wrong on my part that I told them the iWork is included in the MacBook (it isn’t. LOL). What to do, people make mistakes mah right. I is not perfect ok.

Anyways, they bought the MacBook thinking that both the iLife and iWork programs were included where as in reality, only the iLife was pre-installed with the Mac.

So I suppose they eventually found out that the iWork is missing (duh) and they brought it in the next day to our technician at the service station. So the Filipino lady (I assume she’s Filipino la with the way she talk and her accent and all) was giler babeng mm song lor.

Keep pointing the finger to me and say “BUT HE TOLD US THE IWORK WAS INCLUDED”. I apologized to her a million times and believe me if I could apologize in Filipino I would ok. Even her husband (angmoh/guailou/white dude) was understanding and said yeah it was my mistake and he’s alright with it, he doesn’t mind getting the iWork separately to install in the Mac for her.

But there she goes still saying like “AI DUN WANN A MAC EHNIMOAR!” with the most manja tone I’ve ever heard in my life.  Eventually she listened to the person with the bigger paycheck in the house her husband and got the iWork. Wahlau I tell you her face dam 7 black man when she went and pay for the iWork. This is one of the times where I’m glad we STRICTLY don’t give discounts on our Apple products. =)

I mean come on la the husband was totally the nice guy. Sure he was a bit, erm, puzzled(?) why the iWork wasn’t in his Mac when he bought it and he took apology for my mistake and he said it was alright, just don’t do it again/research better on your products and such, and he just totally understand la. The wife on the other hand. =.= I bet their 5 year old daughter was more mature than her. And she’s adorable ok. Since she’s a Caucasian. I bet when she gets older she’d be hot. Like boner-steam kinda hot.

Yeah, anyways, apart from that happening, the event was pretty slow la. It’s probably just the location of the shop. I bet if it were in like Megamall or Pavillion, I wont even have time to daydream about young Caucasian girls being hot in the future to sit down man.

Still haven bumped into anyone I know yet in the mall. Aside from Steph la. Oh wells. Another 2 weeks to go.

Anyways, it’s fun working there. Because you get to meet and serve different types of people/assholes.

I really don’t get some of the customers where they walk in, and ask ridiculously stupid questions like “Excuse me ah, you all got sell LG phones ah?”. HELLO WE’RE A FUCKING APPLE RESELLER! DO WE LOOK LIKE WE SELL LG PHONES AH?!

Then there are those itchy-hand chimpanzees who want to try everything they touch and end up not buying any of them.

Like for example:

“Excuse me ah, can I try that case on my iPod/iPhone ah? Hmmm… Not very fitting la. You sure its for iPhone ah?”

*points at description that says ‘For iPhone’*

“Oh okay. Hmm… this is hard or soft case?”

*points at description that says ‘Soft silicone iPhone jacket’* – eh come on la, don’t tell me you can’t FEEL whether it’s hard or soft ah?!

“Hmmm, how much is this?”

“79 ringgit, sir/ma’am”

“AIYOOOOO!!!!! So expensive ah?!!!!! Got discount ah?”

“No.”

“Kthxbai.”

WTF?! You tell me you bengang or not this kinda customer? What I really like though, are the customers who come in, and know EXACTLY what they want. They just come in like “Hey, do you have the new Magic Mouse in stock?”. “Yes, sir”. “Great, I’ll take 10″.

FUISH I LOVE THESE KINDA CUSTOMERS MAN! Straight to the point. Osm. So far the most ‘expensive’ things I sold were 32GB iPod Touches.

Haven’t sold the ‘big’ stuffs yet like iMacs or MacBooks. Come buy from me la. No discount on Apple products but if you buy accessories, I MIGHT give you 10% off. ;D

How are you all enjoying your holidays so far? Oh crap. You all started college already? Or for some, University. Studying abroad? Bet you 10 bucks, that wherever it is you’re staying, don’t have food as good as back here. Nor as cheap. ;D

Haha. For me, I’m currently working at MyBytes over in Tropicana City Mall. It’s an official Apple reseller. Come check the store out whenever you’re free. I’ll be there 10 to 6 on weekdays and 10 to 10 on SOME weekends lol. No that doesn’t mean you can get discounts on our products. Heck I’m not even sure if we have staff price.

I think la, our store specialty is product engraving. Yeah sure you get free engraving on your iPods when you purchase online, so what’s so great about us? Well what the Apple online store do is just engrave small sentences with limited characters. What we do in MyBytes, is this. Here are a few more samples.

Lol excuse the Liverpool-ness. My boss’ a die-hard fan. And don’t ask me about the butterflies either. Yeah, our engraving allows you to choose different fonts and sizes as well. Also, you get to engrave pictures and small clip arts to personalize your iPod. We don’t just engrave iPods, we also provide engraving for you MacBooks as well. Everything is done on-the-spot and you can get your product done in less than an hour. ;D

My first day was alright. Managed to sell 2 iPod Touch casings and 3 external speakers. Yes the business there is sorta slow till you can keep track of what you sold in a day. But it’s mostly like that in other Apple stores as well. The people there are friendly and my colleagues are just as retarded as me. If not more. LOL.

Yeah so that’s pretty much how I’ll spend my holidays.

Oh for the orange part of my post, I personally think that the F&N Orange is one of the best soft drinks evaaaa. Second only to A&W root beer. Don’t know why I’m suddenly so crazed over it. Must be having too much mandarin oranges.

Oh yeah before I forget, I’d like to wish both Mabel and Wei Jun, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I mean, sure everyone is pretty much busy with their own lives (college, studies, relationships) but still it wouldn’t hurt to say hello once in a while let alone wish ‘happy birthday’. We have so many tech these days that can help relay our messages but still some of us ‘dont really have the time’ to do so.  Be it a Facebook wall post, MSN instant message or even our cellphone texts, some of us just don’t bother to keep in contact anymore do they?

What annoys me is that after they see pictures of those who do keep in contact gathering and having a good time, they have the guts to say stuff like “WHY DIDN’T YOU GUYS CALL ME ALONG?!” .

Well because you’re ‘too busy’ with your ‘stuffs’ that’s fucking why.

Since it’s technically still Chinese New Year, I also would like to wish all you brain-eating zombies out there a Happy Chinese New Year too.
